Today I gave into #5 for 3 meals. That’s abuse. Oats for breakfast + #5, miso ramen and a banana with #5 for lunch, and quinua + #5 for dinner. It was the all-natural kind, so that justifies it right. And the fact that I have NO groceries. I was supposed to go Thursday on my day off…then Friday, and it was desperate measures come Saturday…and I still didn’t go. So that’s when we turn to #5, and say, ah hell with it.
I read a lot today. I caught up on Angela’s Reno’s, pretty much licked the chocolate off my monitor from Kristin’s Chocolate Chewies, and dreaming that I was as lucky as Holly who got to have Chipotle twice this week- and the closest thing to Mexican I can get my paws on is a softshell with beef, cheese and a hotdog. Go Japan, but I’ll pass.
I stared at #16 for a good, lonnnnnng time. They didn’t move. Shoot. I’d say #23 is what really consumed me today. Junkie. Story of my life. I did the dishes though. That’s an accomplishment. I also fixed my toilet- haha, with a makeshift method of taping the chain to the handle. Sadly, when I turned the water back on and let it fill the tank, it made my whole house smell of septic toxins. I had to open the windows. How unfortunate. You’d think that would have been enough to get me out of my house for some sunshine, running, groc’s, SOMETHING. But, no.
It pains me to see #27 being so true. Especially today. So lame.
Come 7p.m. I did a lot of #96 and that just confirmed it. These P.J.’s are too dang comfy and I’m not going out in the cold. Not even for Holiday Gym. Monday is just around the corner and then I’ll kick my butt with 4 days of 7miles each—I wanted to do 7(miles) in 7(days…7 each day that is)…but then there was a national holiday and a snow storm that just had to go and ruin my streak. Rats.
THE BIG NEWS—Keep your calendars open folks. April 18th. Nagano Olympic Commemorative Nagano Marathon. This girl is a few days away from being registered and will be joining Kristina and Erik for a little runnin’ action. Personal goal–Boston qualifying (that’s 3:40). I only missed it by 8 minutes last October. Maybe I’ll train this time around. 😉
But beyond wishing I had cupboards filled with goodies right now, I thought a lil catchin’ up on the ken (prefecture) would be entertaining, since I’m snowed in and all…oh wait, Christy managed to make it to Hirosaki and so did Tesia, capturing pure beauty and serenity of this park only 15 minutes from my house. I guess Sapporo was enough cold for me. But check out their pics, I got sad for a moment for missin’ it, but just kept rockin’ out to T.I. and I felt all better- cozied up by the fiiiiiiire (aka my stove).
Thanks Dixie Chicks: “Can’t Hurry Love” for finding my inner, HIDDEN talent. This girl (me) can belt it. Didn’t say a tune had to go along with it though!
So, take this post to live vicariously through other people, through me. Sometimes I don’t do this place justice. Just wait till spring, I’ll surprise you.

P.S. #100 …for the record.
18 years young, naive, and still #38, haha. HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY TO ALL YOU LOVERS OUT THERE ❤!!!
If you giving into PB is bad for 3 meals, then I am terrible. I have, sadly, on more than one occasion, had McDonald’s for all 3 meals before. But it is just so good…(though after such a day I am done with McD “forever”)
Haha! I seriously need to put the jar away. I don’t even have anything left to eat it with…except my finger. That’s gross. But McD’s 3x!!! I would be in the bathroom all day, haha
so excited for your marathon – that is AWESOME!
